As part of our commitment to quality we provide 1 year's guarantee on all Hand Tool products on this website provided that they have been used, at all times, in the correct manner. However in some cases, due to the exceptional quality of the products, the manufacturers will give much longer guarantees on their products.

As far as Power Tools are concerned we follow the manufacturer?s policy, details of which will be included with the product. Certain other brands may have an extended manufacturers warranty available, requiring on-line registration. Full details can be obtained by selecting the link attached to the product.

If a product is faulty and under guarantee the cost of returning the product is at the customers expense & you should follow the procedures detailed below.

Items Not Required
We aim to provide you with as much information as we can about each product so that you can make an informed purchase decision. However, to give you additional confidence, we will allow you to return any item if it is not what you require within 7 working  days of receipt as long as it has not been used and it is returned in its original undamaged packaging. If you do this you will have to pay the cost of returning the goods to us. We reserve the right to charge a re-stocking fee of up to but not greater than £10.00. 

Faulty, Incorrectly Supplied and Damaged Items

If an item has been incorrectly supplied, received damaged or is faulty then you should notify us within 10 days of the receipt of the goods following the Returns Procedures detailed above. Should we, upon receipt of the said items, be satisfied as to the alleged defects we will either replace the goods or arrange a refund of the full value of the goods and any carriage costs incurred.

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is now UK law. The legislation aims to make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment.  The regulations also mean that suppliers of equipment like high street shops and internet retailers must allow consumers to return their waste equipment free of charge.

The amount of WEEE we throw away is increasing by around 5% each year, making it the fastest growing waste stream in the UK.

·         Much of the UK’s WEEE ends up in landfill, where the lead and other toxins it contains can cause soil and water contamination. This can have a harmful effect on natural habitat, wildlife and also human health.

·         Many electrical items that we throw away can be repaired or recycled.  Recycling items helps to save our natural finite resources and also reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending electrical goods to landfill.  

Distributors of new Electric and Electronic Equipment (EEE) have a part to play in reducing the amount of WEEE going into landfill sites.

For example, if a customer bought a new DEWALT D26500K PLANER from us we would accept their old ELECTRIC PLANER and prevent it going into a landfill site by disposing of it safely. Customers must return their WEEE item to us within 28 days of purchasing their new item. The cost of returning this item will be down to the customer!

Goods are marked with this symbol to show that they were produced after 13th August 2005, and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste so that they can be recycled
